Attendees Prove Work and Play Mix Well at CHSI Technologies’ User Conference

More than 50 customers, business partners and members of CHSI Technologies’ leadership gathered in Las Vegas this month for CHSI’s 2019 Connections Users’ Workshop, and the event delivered on its promise: to combine critical learnings with networking and fun.

Day one of the workshop included timely keynotes from Elisha Krempetz of Concentra, who spoke on telemedicine trends, and Anthony L. Hall of Simons Hall Johnson PC, who addressed the complexities of mixing cannabis with workers’ comp in today’s fast evolving society.  Insurance communications consultant Pat Speer shared a preview of research about to be published that takes a qualitative look at the current state of the insurance industry from a self-insured/public entity and workers compensation perspective. And attendees began their deep dive into the powerful functionality of CHSI Connections® software solutions, including user design changes being released, and updates on data integrity and reporting.

CHSI customers and business partners gathered in September to obtain the latest updates on CHSI Technologies Connections enterprise-class software.

CHSI business partners Imperial PFS and the Long Group provided attendees with information about their products and services, and attendees capped off the first night with networking and cocktails, as well as a special performance from a magician.

Attendees faced a busy day-two of the workshop, with CHSI’s leadership leading off with an introduction of Connections’ Insights, a new component within the system that provides a host of improvements in dashboard functionality, reporting, intuitive auto-fill, separate page viewing for individual functional business areas such as accounting, and more.  Users learned about other new features impacting underwriting, billing, portals, project management, and product development.

Break-out sessions on data basics and advanced SQL rounded out the day, along with a presentation by CHSI business partner Avail and client demos.  A Blackjack tournament gave all attendees a chance to have some Vegas-style play time, followed by a Virtual Reality Experience held at the Venetian.

On day three of the Workshop, attendees were invited back to CHSI Technologies’ headquarters, where Connections’ experts offered one-on-one coaching. “We are always excited to have a chance to interact with our customers,” noted Lee Mashore, CHSI Technologies’ COO, “and we especially appreciate the opportunity to have our own technology experts meet one-on-one with our users to better understand their direct requirements.”
